Spirit of '76 carefully packages their goods to insure that our customers receive
their fireworks in original condition. Spirit of ’76 negotiates the lowest
shipping costs with different freight companies that deliver throughout
the United States. The U.S. Postal Service and the United Parcel Service (UPS)
do not handle consumer fireworks.
Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are based on shipment weight so the more an order weighs, the
more the total freight charge will be (note that the cost per pound will go
down for larger shipments). Please contact
us and would be happy to conduct a freight quote for you. Provide us with
the approximate size of the order (ie. 2000 pounds and the destination address).

Shipping Options
Customers of Spirit of ’76 can receive or pick up their order in four
different ways:
- Delivery to a business address.
- Delivery to a residential address (please
note that there is an additional charge for this option).
- Terminal pickup – delivery to a local
trucking terminal where you can go and pick-up the fireworks.
- Pick-up at Spirit of 76 (6401 W. Highway 40,
Columbia, MO 65202). Picking up the shipment from Spirit of ‘76 avoids
any shipping costs all together and allows our customers to meet face to face
with a Spirit of ’76 sales representative (click here
for directions to our store).
Fireworks Shipping Restrictions
Spirit of ’76 will only ship items that are legally permitted at the shipping
destination. Please be informed about your state firework law. You may refer
to our legal page to learn
more about state firework law. Spirit of ’76 will not ship any type of
firework to the State of California.
Delivery Time
Please call Spirit of ’76 at (573) 447-1776 if you would like an approximate delivery date.
Damaged Goods
Spirit of '76 ships all orders in excellent condition. The fireworks are inspected
and the boxes we use are designed to transport fireworks. Spirit of '76 recommends
that you inspect the firework boxes when you receive your order with the delivery
driver present. If the exterior of the boxes are visibly damaged (water damage,
rips, major dents, etc), Spirit of ’76 recommends that you open the boxes
with the delivery driver present and take note of any damaged fireworks. Please
contact Spirit of ’76 immediately after your discovery of the damaged
goods and we will work with you to resolve the issue. If you discover that the
fireworks have been damaged after you receive your order, please call Spirit
of '76 and let us know the details. Again, we will work with you to solve any
problems.
Shipment Tracking
Wondering where your fireworks are? After your order ships from Spirit Of 76 we will call and provide you with the name of the trucking company and the tracking # for your order. With this information you can receive up to date tracking information by using the web site or toll free telephone number below.
